Lou Engle says “Every child of God has some land of inheritance. It may simply be your marriage or your home. It doesn’t matter how large or small your inheritance is. Just find it! Then make an intercessory stand for it, refusing to abandon your land of promise no matter what dryness or opposition you encounter. If your field of dreams is your family and your marriage, arm yourself with the weapons of God and fight against “the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms (Eph 6:12) that try to steal your inheritance.”[1]
Restoring the hearts of the fathers to the children
Malachi 4:5-6 says “See I will send you the prophet Elijah before that great and dreadful day of the Lord comes. He will turn the hearts of the father to the children and the hearts of the children to the fathers or else I will come and strike the land with a curse.”There are two turnings talked about here: fathers to the children, and children of the fathers. This scripture is not primarily about bringing dads together with their kids; it’s about a whole generation returning to the God of their fathers – that is getting back to the hearts of their spiritual forefathers.[2] The only hope for the British Isles “is that God continues to keep His covenant with our forefathers. This does not mean that we can trust in our spiritual inheritance. Rather it demands that we embrace the promises and covenants that are our birthright and appeal in humility before the mercy seat of God who gave these covenantal promises. In truth the curse on our nation will be removed only by a move of God that turns our hearts back to the faith, passion and power of men and women,” like Livingstone Wesley Whitfield Booth Wycliffe Fox Studd and Taylor.
Guard your heart for it is the wellspring of life
As the Firestarters here on the Isle of Lewis held a 24 hour prayer and worship session a word was brought that when a well breaks open it begins with sludge.. We have to face our sin and the spiritual strongholds of darkness that we have come under, when opening up a well. Connie Taylor taught on dealing with strongholds. Listen to audiofile below:-

Moving the heart of God through sacrifice
In a chapter on moving the heart of God through sacrifice, Lou Engle explains how covenantal love is what revival it’s all about. God revisits the site of sacrifice. In 1 Chronicles 21:22 -27 [3]David built an altar on the ground of historic visitation Mount Moriah paying the full price for both the land and animals for the burnt offerings. Then he calls “on the Lord and the Lord answered him with fire from heaven on the altar of burnt offering.” 1 Chron 21:26b. God answers with fire from heaven and a new generation receives the Father’s inheritance of a visitation of mercy. As the Firestarters prayed and worshipped an offering went up over a 24 hour period , some staying up for a large part of the night, an offering of sacrifice was made in the land of our spiritual forefathers who covenanted with God and saw breakthrough resulting in revival.
Contending for your well
In the prayer room while worshipping and praying some were painting and illustrating their prayers. The picture below is of guarding the well of our hearts for they are a well spring of life. Proverbs 4:23

It is time for ground breaking declarations over our wells that have become blocked … we need to make declarations to guard over the well of our hearts….
“Behold what manner love of the father has given unto us that we should be called children of God that is what we are.” 1 John 3:1
I plead the blood of Jesus Christ over my well and I declare to the powers and principalities over my heart that I am a child of God and I declare over my family that we are the children of God, for that is what we are.. my identity.. our identity .. is found in Jesus Christ, the living word. I put a stake in the ground this day.. I am a child of God.. we are children of God and I say BREAK OUT.. spring up living water.. break out over my life, over my well today, I pray.”
Numbers 21:17
“ Spring up O well! Sing about it, about the well that the princes dug, that the nobles sank- the nobles with sceptres and staffs”
Today with the Firestarters we made declarations over our wells, personal , family and national and sang over them.
